NYU Fan Buses Available for Weekend Soccer

The New York University men’s and women’s soccer teams are playing critical University Athletic Association (UAA) matches this weekend, and the NYU Department of Athletics is providing fan buses for those wanting to attend.

The Friday, October 12, doubleheader will be played at Manhattan College’s Gaelic Park in Riverdale, NY, against Washington University. Action begins with a men’s contest at 11am followed by a women’s match-up at 1:30pm.

The doubleheader has also been designated as a “Tear it Up” event, which also begins at 11am.

Buses will be departing from the Coles Sports and Recreation Center at 181 Mercer Street at 10:00am and at 12:30pm. The buses will return to Coles following the completion of the women's match.

On Sunday, October 14, NYU faces the University of Chicago in another UAA doubleheader with similar starting times. These matches will be played at the College of Staten Island, with buses again leaving Coles at 10:00am and 12:30pm. As on Friday, the buses will return to Coles following the completion of the women's contest.

There is no charge for the transportation or for the refreshments served at Friday’s “Tear it Up” event.
