New York University senior co-captain Jeritt Thayer became a two-time All-American when he was named to Third Team All-America squad by D3kicks.com.

A midfielder from Corona del Mar, CA, Thayer was selected to the D3kicks.com Second Team as a junior, becoming just the third-ever NYU men's soccer All-American.

In addition, Thayer was also tabbed to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas and D3kicks.com All-Metropolitan Region First Team. In addition, he earned First Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) accolades.

Thayer graduated as the Violets' all-time leader in goals scored with 35 after finishing with 14 tallies (5 game-winners), two assists and 30 points in his final collegiate campaign. He tallied 10 or more goals in each of his final three season, including his career-best 14 in 2007.

Thayer ranked second in the UAA in goals scored and third in points.
