Men's Soccer's Dhanens Nets UAA Weekly Accolade

New York University junior forward Adam Dhanens earned the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week - Offense honor after his career-high offensive output in a victory over the University of Chicago.

In the Violets' 3-2 triumph over Chicago on Oct. 14, Dhanens tallied a personal-best five points (2 goals, 1 assist). After netting the match's opening goal at 14:46, he produced the go-ahead goal at 74:21 and assisted on an insurance score 83 seconds later.

A 2006 UAA Honorable Mention selection, Dhanens has already tied career highs in goals (5), assists (4) and points (14) that were set last season as NYU reached the NCAA Division III National Championship Semifinals.
