NSCAA/adidas Division III National Rankings
As its respective winning and shutout streaks continue to grow, so does the New York University men's soccer team's climb in the Division III national rankings.
Fresh off its impressive 1-0 triumph over Case Western Reserve University on Sept. 29, the Violets (8-1-1, 1-0 UAA) moved up three spots in the d3kicks.com Poll and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas National Rankings. NYU is ranked #8 by d3kicks.com and #9 by the NSCAA/adidas.
NYU has an eight-match undefeated streak (7-0-1), including five straight victories by shutout. Overall, the Violets have kept opponents scoreless for the past 507:43, just 63:18 shy of the school mark of 571:01 set in 2005.
The Violets resume action Saturday, Oct. 6, when they travel to University Athletic Association (UAA) rival the University of Rochester for a 5 p.m. start.
