
Men's Fencing Team Competes at Princeton University Duals

The New York University men's fencing team went 1-4 at the Princeton University Duals in Princeton, NJ, on Saturday.
NYU (3-4) ended the competition with a 16-11 triumph over Harvard University, as both the foil (5-4) and sabre (7-2) teams recorded triumphs.
In their first match of the day, the Violets dropped a 15-12 decision to the host Tigers despite a 6-3 NYU win in sabre.
After falling to Penn State University 20-7, the Violets dropped a 15-12 decision to Vassar College. Again the sabre team was NYU's lone victor, out-pointing the Brewers' sabreists 6-3.
Before beating Harvard, NYU dropped an 18-9 decision to the University of North Carolina. The Violet sabreists were edged 5-4.
