For the second straight week, the New York University's women's basketball team is ranked #4 in the USA Today/ESPN Division III Coaches' Poll and the D3hoops.com Top-25 Poll.

NYU is 10-0 thus far, having won nine of its first 10 contests by 10 or more points, including a 64-48 home triumph over New Jersey City University on Jan. 7 at the Jerome S. Coles Center.

The Violets have been ranked in the top-eight of both polls all season. They were also rated #2 in the preseason Women's DIII News Poll.

NYU returns to action Saturday, Jan. 12, when it opens the University Athletic Association (UAA) portion of its schedule with a 2 p.m. home contest against Brandeis University. The Violets are 15-5 in UAA openers under 21st-year head coach Janice Quinn, who has a career record of 449-116 (.795 winning percentage).
