New York University junior forward Jessica McEntee was tabbed as a 2007-08 First Team Preseason All-American by D3hoops.com, the website announced Monday.

McEntee earned Second Team All-America honors from D3hoops.com in March after averaging team highs of 16.9 points and 12.5 rebounds for the Violets (27-4), who reached the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships Final Four.

A 5-11 native of Flushing, NY, who attended prep powerhouse Archbishop Molloy, McEntee was also named an All-American by two other organizations: Kodak/Women's Basketball Coaches Association and Women's DIII News.

McEntee was also named Player of the Year by the University Athletic Association (UAA), the Metropolitan Basketball Writers' Association (MBWA), the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association (NYSWCAA), and D3hoops.com for the East Region.
