Men's & Women's Basketball to Host "Tear It Up!" Doubleheader vs. Case Western Friday

The New York University men's and women's basketball teams will host University Athletic Association (UAA) rival Case Western Reserve University for a designated "Tear It Up!" doubleheader Friday night at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center in Manhattan.

The Violet women's team will tip things off at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.

This will be the second of three "Tear It Up!" events to be held in conjunction with an NYU basketball doubleheader. Free food and t-shirts bearing the "Tear It Up!" logo will be provided to the student body.

In the first "Tear It Up!" event held during a basketball doubleheader against Washington University on Jan. 25, 2,308 fans filled the bleachers at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center.
