Men's Basketball Caps UAA Road Trip Sunday at Case Western Reserve

The New York University men's basketball team will look to continue its road success in the University Athletic Association (UAA) when it faces Case Western Reserve University on Sunday, Feb. 3, at noon in Cleveland.

There will be a free audio and video webcast provided by Case Western Reserve.

NYU (11-6, 2-4 UAA) will look to go 2-0 on this UAA road trip after defeating Emory University, 78-71, on Friday night in Atlanta just seven days after Emory knocked off #3 University of Rochester on its home floor.

Senior guard Charlie Parker led five Violets in double digits Friday night with 17 points, while junior center John Mish contributed 16 points and a career-best eight boards. Sophomore forward Zachary Kuba tallied a personal-high 14 points, while sophomore forward Keith Jensen also added 14 and sophomore guard Omar Meziab contributed 11.

Case Western Reserve (7-10, 0-6) are coming off a 90-75 home loss to #9 Brandeis University on Friday night. Mason Conrad finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Rob Skuski added 14 tallies and eight caroms for the Spartans.

Sunday's game will complete the first half of the Violets' UAA schedule. They will begin the second half of their Association slate Friday, Feb. 8, at home against Case Western Reserve at 8 p.m. in a "Tear It Up!" event.
