Steve Herishen is the FitLinxx, Weight and Aerobic Room Manager here at the Palladium. Herishen's responsibilities include organizing and implementing programs, scheduling and training for the FitLinxx system as well as ensuring the smooth operation and staffing of both the Weight and Aerobic Fitness Rooms including the Rock Climbing Wall. Steve is also an ACE certified personal trainer, who is a recreation class instructor at the PAF.
Formerly Assistant Wrestling Coach for the Bobcats, Herishen completed his sixth and final season as Asst. Coach in 2004. During his years at NYU, the team has won two UAA Championships and has produced three NCAA All-Americans. Herishen wrestled for current NYU head coach Bruce Haberli as an undergraduate at Manhattan College.
A 1995 Manhattan graduate with a degree in finance, Herishen compiled a 76-42-2 record at the NCAA Division I level. A two-time captain and team MVP, Herishen was the Northeast Conference champion and an NCAA Division I Championship qualifier.
A native of Turnersville, New Jersey, Herishen currently resides in Manhattan. In his spare time he enjoys competing in triathlons and playing roller hockey. Steve recently completed his first Ironman event in Switzerland.
