The 2007-08 academic year marks Kira Keegstra’s eighth as the Recreation Assistant in New York University’s Department of Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals.
A 2000 graduate of NYU’s College of Arts and Science with a degree in mathematics, Keegstra is responsible for the chronological and room schedules, and for registration for all recreation classes offered at the Coles Sports & Recreation Center. She also helps supervise the student employees hired as club sports assistants, as well as those who work at registration.
Keegstra, who began working for the Department of Athletics as a student employee during her sophomore year at NYU, is a native of Chicago and resides in Brooklyn, NY.
