Men's Fencing's Harris Named UAA Athlete of the Week

New York University freshman Carrington Harris was named the University Athletic Association's Male Fencer Athlete of the Week after a solid week.

Harris, a foil, won four matches as the Violets opened their dual-match season with a pair of victories of Stevens Institute of Techology. He went 2-1 in the first match as the Violets won 22-5. Harris then went 2-1 again, including the deciding fifth foil team victory, as NYU won 18-9.
