Berger Wins UAA Honor

Sophomore Craig Berger has been named to the 2007 University Athletic Association Men’s Tennis All-Association Team.

Berger was named Second Team All-UAA at fourth singles.

The UAA honors its top 12 singles performers and its top six doubles teams.

Berger accumulated a 10-12 record over the course of the season and was second on the team in total singles wins in 2006-07. The sophomore won six of his last 10 matches and won his last two matches of the season at the UAA Championship. Berger helped lead the Violets to a sixth-place finish in the tournament

Berger, who competed in every NYU match throughout the season, went 5-3 in the fourth singles spot.

The Violets finished with an overall 4-14 match record in ’06-07.
