Basketball Teams Sweep UAA Home Openers vs. Emory

Both the New York University men's and women's basketball teams scored impressive victories before large crowds in their University Athletic Association home openers Friday night.

Led by sophomore forward Jessica McEntee's 20 points and 18 rebounds, the NYU women's team (14-1, 3-1 UAA) used a 20-4 game-ending run to record a 75-57 victory over Emory. In the men's game, senior forward Daniel Falcon finished with 20 points, a career-high tying 17 boards and four blocked shots to lead the Violets (13-2, 2-2 UAA) to a 69-50 victory.
