Thirty-Seven Athletes Receive UAA All-Academic Recognition

Thirty-seven New York University student-athletes have received University Athletic Association Spring All-Academic award recognition. Within the UAA, All-Academic recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.200.

The NYU men's and women's outdoor track & field squads led the way with 13 and seven representatives, respectively. Following them were the women's tennis team with seven, the men's golf team with five, and the men's tennis team with four.

Representing the men's outdoor track & field team are seniors Felix Chung, Howah Hung, Daniel Moschella and Daniel Schwartzman, juniors Jon Phillips and Colin Ryan, and sophomores Hany Abdallah, Jean Blardony, Michael Gilliam, Ross McGraw, Nile Naher-Brown, Michael Peroutka and Ryan Williams.

The honorees for the women's outdoor track & field team are senior Jaqueline Orlando, junior Danielle Levoit, and sophomores Nicole Eastzer, Sofia Frank, Beatrix Jackson, Tilona Moore, Jillian Schiavi and Natalie Wilson.

Receiving recognition on the women's tennis team are seniors Kim Gordon and Megan Hayes, juniors Katie Lee, Bianca Nicoletti and Erika Olsen, and sophomores Jaclyn Manning and Hayley McLaughlin.

Earning notice for the men's golf team are senior Kunal Rawal, junior Steve Coulton, and sophomores Andre Ghim, Adam Krainson and Matthew McGinnis.

The four members of the men's tennis troupe receiving the honor are seniors Christopher Chang and Kolby Loft, and sophomores Aziz Fredrich and Mikhail Gurevich.
