Pringle Named Co-Most Outstanding Performer at UAA Championships

New York University track & field runner Lauren Pringle was awarded University Athletic Association Co-Most Outstanding Performer honors for the running events at the UAA Championships, which were held February 25-26 at the Armory on 168th Street in Manhattan.

Pringle, a senior, won two events at the meet. She won the high jump event with a height of 5’1", then captured the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.85. She was also a member of the Violets’ second place 4x400 meter relay team, which ran a time of 4:01.89.

The award comes a week after Pringle broke the NYU pentathlon record at the New York State CTC Championships.
