119 Student-Athletes Named to Fall Honor Roll

One-hundred and nineteen New York University student-athletes were named to the Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall 2004 Honor Roll. To qualify, students must participate on an intercollegiate team competing during the fall semester and earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the semester.
The men’s fencing team had the most number of team members on the Honor Roll (15). The athletes honored were: Scott Bell, Robert Curtain, Adam Fettig, Jonathan Gorman, Brian Haines, Christopher Harrison, Colin Hartman, Alexander Kao, Oliver Kennedy, Matthew Lutz, Andrew Magee, Jonas Pelli, Curtis Pursell, Gabriel Sinkin, and Benjamin Stowe.
Fourteen members of the men’s cross-country team were honored: Hany Abdallah, Jean Blardony, Craig Hosang, Carl Howell, Grant Mitchell, Daniel Moschella, Jonathan Mummolo, Nile Nahar-Brown, Spenser Popeson, Colin Ryan, Daniel Scwartzman, Robert Taylor, Ryan Williams, and Vincent Zarrillo.
Twelve members of the women’s cross-country team were honored: Sarah Ackerman, Sarah Carbiener, Sofia Frank, Amanda Ghanie, Sarah Mahran, Alison Maringo, Lorraine Mull, Jennifer Raleigh, Shannon Sodano, Carina Sorenson, CiCi Stevens, and Natalie Wilson.
The women’s fencing team also had 12 athletes that received the honor: Suzette Bishop, Greta Daniels, Brett Downey, Jean Goto, Shanna Lafferty, Eugenia Lee, Priya Narayanan, Kristen Wentrcek, Lauren Willock, Jessica Wilson, Yong Li Lilia Wu Fang, and Yao Xiao.
Twelve members of the men’s swimming & diving team were honored: Kyle Anderson, Carl Critz, Matthew Cull, Andrew Guyton, Shaughn Keating, Egor Lazebnik, Robert Mendez, Casey Nathan, Kevin Radloff, Kevin Ryan, Timur Spektor, and Christopher Wolff.
The women’s swimming & diving team featured 10 athletes that were honored: Rachel Bergman, Alissa Cantone, Elizabeth Cobbel, Grace Cretcher, Erin Fitzsimmons, Meredith Lewis, Amber Niemczyk, Erika Norris, Elizabeth Parker, and Kristen Sabala.
Seven members of the women’s soccer team were honored: Kaitlin Barnes, Jessica Carillo, Whitney Dipollina, Laura Donnelly, Sarah Foley, Jillian Konarski, and Jennifer Tavares.
Also, seven members of the women’s volleyball team were honored: Vanessa Biegen, Serena Bountour, Elena Drinka, Jennifer Gardikas, Katya Khmelnitskaya, Whitney Kouvaris, and Jennifer Wylie.
Six members of the men’s basketball team were honored: Tyler Boehm, Chael Clark, Jeff Gilkerson, Charlie Parker, Bobby Serafin, and Alex Sprinzen; as were six members of the women’s basketball team: Jessica Altieri, Shannon Costello, Stephanie Huhn, Chantal Kazay, Olivia Kiel, and Adrienne Rochetti.
Four members of the men’s soccer team were honored: Dylan Byrne, Matthew Tier, Antonio Trillo, and James Walkinshaw.
Four members of the men’s tennis team: Chris Chang, Aziz Friedrick, Kolby Loft, and James White; and four members of the women’s tennis team: Bianca Nicoletti, Erika Olson, Meghan Smith, and Jennifer Sussman; were also honored.
Three members of the men’s golf team were honored: Andrew Gihm, Adam Krainson, and Kunal Rawal; as were three members of the wrestling team: Lee Dugan, Joseph Esposito and Brett Milgram.
