Smith Earns Athlete of the Week Honors

New York University freshman Meggie Smith earned University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honors for her performance in the Violets 5-4 loss to The College of New Jersey on Sunday, February 13th, in Ewing, NJ.

Smith cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at #4 singles. In doubles action, Smith teamed up with Megan Hayes to capture a 8-3 win at #1.

Smith has tallied a 9-5 singles record, while posting a 7-6 doubles mark on the season.
