Twelve Violets Earn Academic Award

Twelve members of the NYU women’s cross country team earned All-Academic regocnition from the University Athletic Association for the 2004 fall semester.

Seniors Patricia Izquierdo and Shiri Leventhal; juniors Jennifer Raleigh, Shannon Sodano, Carina Sorenson and CiCi Stevens; and sophomores Sara Ackerman, Christine Bilich, Sarah Carbiener, and Lorraine Mull were all honored for their work in the classroom.

To earn the award, a student must have completed at least one full year of college with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 (B+) or better.
