Selena Whang is a Ph.D. candidate
in Performance Studies at NYU. She has taught at Parsons School of Design
and at The New School. She is currently on the Board of the New York Lesbian
and Gay Film Festival (New Festival) and is also Managing Editor and Gallery
Coordinator of GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies. She is
published in the anthology, Dragon Ladies: Asian American Feminists Breathe
Fire. She has also toured her lecture and film/video clip Queer Colored
Girls nationally and Dick Play: Masculine Trappings of Transhood
and Race, Sex, and Violence for the New York Lesbian and Gay Experimental
Film Festival.
