Alondra Nelson is a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at NYU. Her teaching and research interests include African Americans and modernity, science and technology studies, intellectual history and 20th Century American popular culture. She is currently co-editing an anthology on race, technology, and daily life with Thuy Linh Tu and Alicia Headlam Hines.
