Janet Lai holds a Masters Degree in Chinese from the University of Hong Kong. She has been a Cantonese instructor at China Institute and also a translator and interpretor for the Board of Education in NYC. She worked as a reporter for a major Chinese newspaper in New York's Chinatown and wrote numerous exclusive articles on the Chinese community. Recently, her New York guide book in Chinese was published in Hong Kong.
