Jason King
is a Ph.D. candidate in Performance Studies at NYU and has been
adjunct faculty in the Asian/Pacific American Studies Program, Tisch Drama
and the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He is a frequent
contributor to Vibe magazine, and his publications include essays on artists
like John Leguizamo, Michael and Janet Jackson, Luther Vandross, Erykah
Badu, Timbaland, Spike Lee and others. Jason also works as performer,
playwright, director, songwriter, musician, and vocal arranger.
