Allan Isaac is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at NYU. His research focuses on the cultural historical conjuncture between the American tutelary project in the Philippines and the inception of Philippine and American national identities in the early decades of the 20th century. He has taught at the New Jersey City University and has written for the magazine, Metropolis.
