If you happen to find yourself in Midtown Manhattan, be sure to look for the NYU flag flying at 15 W. 43rd Street. Last October NYU celebrated surpassing the 250-member mark at The Princeton Club by unfurling a permanent NYU flag in front of the club.
Membership in the club was opened to NYU alumni, faculty, and administrators in the fall of 2003. Given the clubs convenient Midtown location, attractively-priced guest accommodations, and newly renovated fitness center, the benefit was an immediate success. The club also features a full schedule of events and activities for members, formal and casual dining rooms and bar, and a new business center with WiFi access. In addition, members receive reciprocal benefits at clubs around the world, allowing them to stay overnight at 62 clubs in 46 cities.
Alumni have been waiting for years for a club of this magnitude to come along, says Ann Marie Ladisa, director of alumni relations and services. Were grateful to have this partnership with The Princeton Club, and thrilled that alumni have responded so enthusiastically.
