CAS 1971 ReunionAs part of the College of Arts and Science Deans Day, members of the class of 1971 from both University Heights College and Washington Square College gathered to celebrate their 30th reunion. The theme of their reunion, The Age of Aquarius Meets the Millennium, was reflected in several of the panels offered at Deans Day, including a session on the sixties and another on college students then and now. Dean Matthew Santirocco welcomed alumni back to campus and presented the annual CAS Alumni Achievement Award to Dr. Sherwin Nuland (ARTS 51), clinical professor of surgery at Yale School of Medicine, at Deans Day, which also featured sessions on topics ranging from sex and gender issues to contemporary art.
