 Marking an exciting new phase in NYU’s evolution, the newly established Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at NYU appointed a director, and three NYU schools—The College of Dentistry, The School of Medicine, and The Gallatin School of Individualized Study—welcomed new deans. Your NYU NetID is a secure identifier comprised of a combination of your initials and a few random numbers, making it easier for NYU to acknowledge you individually while safeguarding your information.

New Acting Executive Director Appointed
 The summer marked an exciting series of changes in the Office of University Alumni Relations. The long-time leader of the NYU Office of Alumni Relations, Adrienne Rulnick, departed NYU after 11 plus years leading the university’s alumni relations effort.
She has been succeeded in her role by Stan Sheppard, formerly the director of the Fund for NYU. Effective August 1, Sheppard became the Acting Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund at NYU.
