Did you stay in New York City after graduation? Perhaps you moved across the country to sunny California? Either way, no matter where you are, NYU comes to you. If you stayed in the New York City area, keep on learning with the fascinating Speakers on the Square Lecture Series. Every year, Speakers on the Square brings the most vital issues to the NYU community by presenting some of the University’s most fascinating faculty and alumni on Washington Square.

Join us on October 10, 2007 at 6:15PM for this fall’s Speakers on the Square lecture featuring Dr. Joseph LeDoux, NYU University Professor, Henry and Lucy Moses Professor of Science, and member of the Center for Neural Science and Department of Psychology, as he demystifies why modern life is filled with so much fear and anxiety. Dr. LeDoux will share his insight on the progress in uncovering the brain mechanisms of fear and anxiety and will also perform live with his band, the Amygdaloids.
