New Benefit Alert:
Remote Access to Library Resources

Doing your research has never been easier! Thanks to the NYU Class of 2006 Legacy gift, the new NYU Libraries E-access Project to give alumni premium access to online newspapers, magazines, and journals is now available. Take advantage of the opportunity to fulfill all your research needs without a trip to the library.

Alumni online access to NYU Libraries includes four databases which suit a wide variety of subject areas:

The Research Library is an extensive mix of scholarly journals, trade publications, magazines, and newspapers that cover many diverse subject areas.

The ABI/INFORM database provides access to management and business literature as well as articles from academic, trade and popular press journals. ABI/INFORM also has information covering over 60,000 companies and includes executive profiles, reports on market conditions, and case studies of global business trends.

The ProQuest Health Management database supplies journal literature in health administration, and covers topics like hospitals, insurance, law, ethics, health economics, and public health administration.

The ProQuest Newspapers database contains the full-text of approximately 27 national, financial, and regional newspapers from the past 20 years, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post.

Let NYU stay a part of your educational endeavors by putting research at your fingertips. You can access the free alumni library resources by logging into VioletNet, the alumni online community, at violetnet.nyu.edu. If you have already registered in VioletNet, sign on and click on the Library link to start searching today. If you are new to VioletNet, log on and follow the “New User” instructions.
