Just Graduated?
Join the Job Club!

Finding the perfect job can be a long, tedious process, especially for new college graduates who don’t have a lot of experience or a long list of contacts. To assist the class of 2007, NYU’s Wasserman Center for Career Development is proud to announce the start of the 2007 Job Club, a student-run group in which new graduates assist each other in their job searches.

The 2007 Job Club holds weekly meetings in which participants network with each other while sharing contacts, getting feedback on resumes, cover letters, and interview questions, tips on job search strategies, and commiserating about the ups and downs of job hunting. The graduates also provide support and encouragement, which helps individuals move through the hunt more quickly and effectively. In fact, studies have shown that Job Clubs have above an 80 percent effectiveness rate, making this program at NYU the perfect way to intensify your job search!
