VioletNet—New and Improved!

Does the blinding pace of every day life make keeping in touch a challenge? With the new and improved VioletNet—NYU’s online alumni community complete with a directory of all graduates—staying in touch and involved is easier than ever before. Whether you want to reach out to old friends, brighten someone’s day, or just let people know what you’ve been up to, VioletNet is your link to other NYU alumni.

VioletNet users can update addresses, share profiles, post resumes, join networks, get involved with clubs all over the country, and much more! The newly revamped community now provides alumni with the opportunity to customize their profile information, as well as post
personal pictures and keep contact lists of other alumni. You can
even receive e-mails when members of your contact lists update their profiles.

“We are very excited about all of the new features VioletNet has to offer,” says Stan Sheppard, acting executive director of alumni relations. “Even if you’ve previously registered, come back and try all of the community’s new features. VioletNet has the latest tools to help your NYU network thrive.”

Check out VioletNet today! Visit violetnet.nyu.edu and go through the easy and free registration process. If you are new to VioletNet, look on this issue’s mailing label to find your individual user name encoded above your address. Log on and follow the “New User” instruction to get started today. In a matter of minutes you will be able to keep classmates updated on your status as well as search for old friends. Now there’s no excuse for falling out of touch.
