How Can I Get
Involved with NYU?
In the survey published in the spring 2005 issue of NYU Alumni News, nearly 40% of alumni who responded to a question on their level of involvement with NYU said they were not currently engaged with the University, but would like to be in the future.
This particular response caused us all to sit up and take notice, says Senior Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Debra LaMorte. We want alumni to get involved, and our alumni are out there eagerly saying Help me get involved."
While NYU works hard to increase alumni participation in the Fund for NYU, in addition, the University needs alumni who can lend their time and expertise to their alma mater to ensure that it continues to flourish.

Abraham Foxman (LAW 65) Kicks Off
New Speakers on the Square
Lecture Series
This fall, the NYU Alumni Association inaugurates a new lecture series showcasing some of the Universitys most dynamic faculty members and accomplished alumni. The new series, Speakers on the Square, begins on October 6 when alumnus Abraham H. Foxman (LAW 65), national director of the Anti-Defamation League, presents the Rudin Greater New York Lecture entitled Is There a Vaccine Against Prejudice? to the NYU community
