Last fall, the association's 14th annual Finance Forum was entitled Investing for the Next Millennium. The even, which drew a large audience, was hosted by NYU President Dr. L. Jay Oliva and forum chairman Herbert M. Paul, who is managing partner of Herbert Paul, P.C., a NYU Trustee Associate, and a former president of the NYU Alumni Association.

Guest speakers at last year's forum included Irwin L. Kellner, chief economist, CBS Marketwatch; Ralph G. Norton, chief investment officer ING Funds; Gerald Robinson, Carb, Luria, Cook & Kufeld, LLP; Myron Uretsky, chairman, Department of Information Systems, Stern School of Business; and Alan Shapiro, director of gift planning, NYU.

Some of the seminars covered investing for income, managing retirement financial assets, charitable gifts that benefit you and your family, and getting information on the Web.
