In the interest of health and safety, events and programs organized by the central NYU Office of Alumni Relations, Annual Giving, and Development teams will be conducted in a virtual format through the rest of 2020. This follows university guidance to not bring large groups of guests and members of the NYU community together in a single venue (see COVID-19 Information and Resources). This includes events hosted, sponsored, or promoted by the NYU Alumni Association (NYUAA).

We recognize that NYUAA volunteers are eager to organize safe and meaningful opportunities for alumni to gather in person. Any proposal for an in-person gathering must be (1) in accordance with local government regulations and is (2) subject to approval by the NYU Restart Steering Committee. If you are interested in hosting an in-person program, please be in touch with your staff partner directly.

Affinity Alumni Clubs

Affinity Alumni Clubs allow alumni to connect around a shared interest or affinity. Attending alumni club events gives you the change to meet, network, and share experiences with like-minded alumni. Affinity Alumni Clubs are open to all NYU alumni, regardless of school, college or degree type. Programs and events are held in the NYC metro area.

Regional Alumni Clubs

Regional Alumni Clubs create opportunities for alumni to connect in cities across the United States and countries around the world through professional, social, academic, cultural and service programs. Regional Alumni Clubs are open to all NYU alumni, regardless of school, college, or degree type. Programs and events are held outside the NYC metro area.

Award-Winning Events

As a way to celebrate the exemplary commitment of our volunteers, the NYU Alumni Association honors four categories of volunteer achievement each year, including Event of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Individual Volunteer of the Year, and New Volunteer of the Year.

These awards are given to officially-recognized clubs, groups, and volunteers who have effectively engaged their alumni constituency and fulfilled or furthered the mission of the NYU Alumni Association through innovative events and community-building strategies, sustained leadership in engaging alumni, and cultivating the spirit of NYU pride.
