We are pleased to announce that the NYU 2009 Alumni Association Awards Luncheon witll be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.
This year, the University honored two graduates with the Distinguished Alumni Award: Maria Bartiromo (WSC '89) and Abraham Foxman (LAW '65), and presented the Eugene J. Keogh Award for Distinguished Public Service to the Ambassador Inonge Mbikustia-Lewanika (Steinhardt '80). This year's Distinguished Young Alumna Award will be going to Kelly Kennedy Mack (STERN '02). Selected through a comprehensive nomination and evaluation process by the Awards Committee of the NYU Alumni Association Board, the awardees successes and commitments in their fields and communities exemplify the NYU spirit.
