The alumni committee at the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development is continually assessing programs and services for NYU alumni, especially free programs that complement our fee-based services--career counseling and access to NYU CareerNet. We recognize that career development is a dynamic, life-long process, so we continue to develop and put forth quality, as well as timely, programs and services that address the diverse needs of our constituents.

The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) offers more than 2,000 credit and noncredit courses designed to fit many diverse needs and interests. SCPS's Center for Career, Education, and Life Planning offers individual counseling, testing, test preparation, a comprehensive Career Planning Program, and varied one-day workshops.

The Annual Job Expo for students, recent alumni, and experienced professionals is held each fall. Employers from throughout the tri-state area are always anxious to meet talented NYU alumni and students, so bring plenty of resumes. Watch the calendar of events for details on the next date and time.
Every April, the Office of University Alumni Relations and the Leonard N. Stern School of Business host a conference on self-employment, business ownership and entrepreneurship. This day-long event has included past keynote speakers like Leonard Riggio, CEO of Barnes and Noble, and Tim and Nina Zagat. Going to Graduate School? NYU Test-Prep offers GRE, GMAT, and LSAT classes year-round to help you prepare for your graduate admissions exams. Courses are seven sessions long. NYU Test-Prep instructors are test experts who offer explanations-not just answers-to students' questions. Each class is $775.
