There’s no better way to get the inside scoop on what it’s like to be part of the NYU community than hearing straight from the horse’s mouth. Or is that the bobcat’s mouth? Either way, come visit us and learn firsthand from current students why there’s nothing like NYU. Whether it’s our New York City, Abu Dhabi, or Shanghai campus, here’s how you can visit:

New York City: Two Locations, One Great City

Just about any day of the week, you can visit one of our two New York City locations and meet with undergraduate admissions officers and take a tour led by a current student. Below are details on when, where, and how you can visit us in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The NYU Welcome Center will be closed for Independence Day from at 4pm on Friday, July 1st until 9am on Tuesday, July 5.

Ways to Visit

Includes a meeting with an undergraduate admissions officer followed by a student-led tour; takes about two hours and spots fill up fast. For Manhattan, sign up for an Info session and tour or tour only. For Brooklyn (NYU Tandon School of Engineering), sign up for an info session and tour or tour only

Where to stay: 

Every fall we host open houses for prospective students so they can meet with faculty, undergraduate admissions staff, financial aid officials, and current students. Tours of freshmen residence halls are also available. Check back in July for open house dates.

You can visit a class in session Monday-Thursday certain times of the year. Our Manhattan Welcome Center (212-998-4550) can tell you more.

Offered to high schools that want to send a large group to NYU. Includes an information session with an admissions official and a campus tour. Learn more and request a tour. Make sure to schedule three weeks in advance.

Talk with student ambassadors at the NYU Welcome Center (see above for address) and get a self-guided tour map.
