Housing & Dining

Residence Hall

Residential life at NYU offers housing options that range from high-rise apartments to traditional residence halls overlooking Washington Square.

Explore our residence and dining halls.

Living in a residence hall at NYU is a great way to meet friends and establish a close-knit network of friends within the context of the larger university. Most of our freshmen live on campus, so you will always be surrounded classmates and friends.

Whether it be watching movies with your roommate, or exploring the City with your neighbor, the times you share with your residential community will become lasting memories of your NYU experience.

NYU offers four years of guaranteed housing for freshmen in traditional and apartment-style residences with an upperclass Resident Assistant (RA) on each floor. Each student residence features a private bath. Housing for transfer students is limited and is not guaranteed.
