Students walking in front of Washington Square Arch

Ready, Set, Start-Up!

Ideas come in all shapes and sizes. They can be as small as a pill bottle, a smartwatch app, or a flash animation on your laptop screen, but their impact can be felt in much bigger ways, like fighting opioid addiction, stopping unsafe driving, or giving students access to quality sex education. Across NYU’s global network, these ideas—and many others—are churned out daily from the University’s vast culture of business and entrepreneurship. Students collaborate in multidisciplinary labs, network with industry leaders in the classroom, and cultivate new ways of thinking about sustainable, innovative businesses. Most importantly, their ideas may even become the next big thing. See how these three start-ups and social ventures came to life at NYU.
