NYU Shanghai has officially welcomed the inaugural class of 2017. NYU Shanghai is NYU's newest degree-granting campus in the heart of Pudong, Shanghai's financial district. These exceptional students come from across the globe – Azerbaijan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and the United States are all represented.

NYU's School of Professional Studies will be offering new summer courses for high school students in photography, creative writing, digital filmmaking, motion comics and illustration, real estate, global affairs, digital journalism, and finance. All will make use of New York City as a learning laboratory. These noncredit, week-long courses are ideal for students who would like to see what life is like at NYU in a more concentrated span of time.
For high school students who would prefer a longer, six-week experience, there is also the NYU Precollege program, which offers 75 summer courses in 30 academic areas of study.
The NYU Men's Wrestling Team is continuing to climb up the national rankings. They recently landed at #20 in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Poll.
NYU sends more American students to study abroad annually than any other university in the US, according to the latest Open Doors report from the IIE (Institute of International Education).
The university currently has a total of 14 campuses around the globe, including new campuses in Washington, DC and Sydney, Australia. NYU was also ranked among the top three US universities for attracting international students.
