What day do I attend Weekend on the Square?

Weekend on the Square is hosted over a two-day weekend to accommodate as many admitted students and the families as possible. The day you will attend (Saturday or Sunday), is based on the school to which you were admitted.

The list of dates for each school will be released in mid-March to help you make your travel plans.

Please note: The College of Arts and Science is hosting sessions on both days. You can choose the date that best fits your schedule.

If your school is offering two programs, they both have the same sessions and content, just in a different order to allow more families to participate. Choose either one.

Example Schedule of Events

Your full day of activities will include: an all-NYU Welcome Celebration, a school academic session hosted by your new dean, the opportunity to speak with financial aid, campus tours, residence hall open house, and much more! You should plan to be on campus from approximately 9 am to 4:30 pm to take advantage of all the available opportunities.
