Spring is a great time to experience college life in New York City. Spring in New York allows American and international students a chance enroll in courses at NYU to enhance your current studies or explore a new subject. Enjoy the benefits available to NYU students—recreation centers, libraries, and student activities. In your free time, experience all the city has to offer with student discounts for New York attractions such as Broadway shows, sporting events, concerts, and museums.
Students may attend part-time or full-time, taking a single course or as many as 18 credits from a large range of undergraduate courses.
The following students are eligible to apply for Spring in New York:
Visiting students should work with their home institution to ensure that the courses they participate in at NYU will transfer back to the school where they will receive their degree.
Students in the categories below should not apply as a visiting student for Spring in New York:
Students who are currently matriculated in an NYU degree program are able to earn credits toward their degree through NYU Spring in New York. NYU students must register on Albert; please do not submit the Spring in New York Visiting Student Application. For information about University deadlines, check the 2012-2013 academic calendar.
Students who wish to matriculate at New York University and receive a degree from NYU should apply as a Freshman, Graduate or transfer student. They should not apply for visiting student status.
Students who are interested in earning graduate credit for Spring in New York courses must apply through the Admissions office of the school that offers the course of interest. Click on the links below to contact the school of your choice.
