Spring is a great time to experience college life in New York City. Spring in New York allows American and international students a chance enroll in courses at NYU to enhance your current studies or explore a new subject. Enjoy the benefits available to NYU students—recreation centers, libraries, and student activities. In your free time, experience all the city has to offer with student discounts for New York attractions such as Broadway shows, sporting events, concerts, and museums.
Students may attend part-time or full-time, taking a single course or as many as 18 credits from a large range of undergraduate courses.
Are you eligible to apply for Spring in New York?
The following students are eligible to apply for Spring in New York:
- High school graduates who have earned a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current undergraduates at a college/university who would like to study away for a semester.
- Post-graduate students who already have their Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and wish to take undergraduate courses.
- Returning visiting students may re-apply for up to three consecutive semesters.
Visiting students should work with their home institution to ensure that the courses they participate in at NYU will transfer back to the school where they will receive their degree.
