For students who demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to becoming a secondary school teacher of American history, government, or social studies. Awards support up to two years of study and a maximum of $24,000.
Candidates must:
- be a U.S. citizen or national
- be a college senior or recent graduate
- have a competitive G.P.A.
- plan to pursue full-time graduate study
- plan to teach full-time in a secondary school
