Current Initiatives

Assessment Council

The Assessment Council is comprised of faculty, staff, and administrators serving as liaisons between academic schools, Student and Global Affairs, and the Office of Academic Assessment. The Council meets 2-4 times each semester to formulate innovative assessment strategies that fit with the needs and goals of the NYU community, share success stories and assessment related challenges, and develop meaningful practices to improve opportunities for student learning across campus programs and units. Meetings provide members with the opportunity to share and learn from each other, so that members may impart this informationto their respective academic communities.

Workshops

The Office of Academic Assessment (OAA) annually sponsors 3-4 internal workshops to grow and support student learning assessment at NYU.  Topics and the target audience vary by workshop.  For more information about an upcoming workshop, please contact the OAA.  To RSVP for a workshop, please contact Nicolas J.
