OAA Welcomes New Research Analyst, Nathan Leitner
This month the Office of Academic Assessment welcomes Nathan Leitner as the new Research Analyst for the 2015 - 2016 academic year. Nathan is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration degree specializing in International Management & Policy at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU. Nathan brings a rich background in program management, operations, and strategy, and will serve as the primary research lead for the content analysis of student learning outcomes assessment data for the AY2015 assessment cycle.

- Funding to develop an assessment rubric to evaluate practice-based learning outcomes of Master of Public Health students.

Undergraduate Nursing Program
- Funding to begin Stage I of a three-stage student clinical evaluation project moving from a paper evaluation system to an electronic student evaluation platform. Stage I will include course mapping and development of an evaluation rubric that will be used across courses and sequences.
2015 Academic Assessment Symposium
In its second year, the 2015 Academic Assessment Symposium, sponsored by the Office of Academic Assessment and the Office of the Provost, was comprised of faculty, staff, and administrators from across NYU. Hosted in the Rosenthal Pavilion of the Kimmel Center for University Life, the room overlooked a luminous morning in Washington Square Park with New York City in the backdrop.
