NYU is a place to grow and excel in your career while being part of a dynamic and stimulating intellectual community. From seminars and lectures to theater productions, films, musical performances, sporting events, and gallery openings, there are many diverse opportunities to participate in the cultural life of the University.

The keystone of this enriching environment is NYU’s Washington Square campus in New York City’s Greenwich Village, a legendary urban neighborhood rich in cultural offerings, with a delightful small town character quite unlike any other. Generations of writers, artists, musicians, and scholars, from Henry James to Jack Kerouac, have called Greenwich Village home. It’s also a place where you can find sidewalk cafes, world-class galleries, and off-Broadway theaters -- all of which add up to the energy and creativity of the Village. More...
