How do I use the Blackboard Grade Center to post final grades? How do I reuse or save my content from term to term? For faculty members, the end of the semester can bring with it a number of NYU Blackboard-related questions. In response to faculty requests for increased support and training near the end of the term, ITS' Faculty Technology Services is pleased to announce that Blackboard faculty group training sessions will be offered at the end of the fall and spring semesters! A range of topics from the most common to the most pertinent end-of-semester needs will be covered.
Faculty Technology Services has also teamed up with NYU's Office of Learning and Organizational Development to provide streamlined registration, using NYU iLearn, for Blackboard group training sessions and one-on-one sessions for faculty. (See the related article, NYU iLearn: The New Link to Professional Development at NYU, also in this issue of Connect.) When they log in to iLearn, instructors will now find Blackboard training listed alongside other learning and development opportunities available to the NYU community. The system allows you to quickly register, change dates, and even cancel your registration, all in one location. NYU iLearn will also confirm your registration and send you a reminder, all via email.
