NYU Vets Gather On 11/11 to Set Something Right: Unveiling - At Last - A Memorial to NYUers Who Served


NYU students, faculty, staff, and alums will gather to unveil something that has long been missing on NYU’s campus: a public memorial to the thousands of NYU Violets who have served in the US armed forces.

  • WHAT:            NYU students, faculty, staff, and alums will gather to unveil something that has long been missing on NYU’s campus: a public memorial to the thousands of NYU Violets who have served in the US armed forces.  The event will include the presentation of the colors by Detachment 560 Thunderbirds Color Guard from Manhattan College.

  • WHERE:          Schwartz Plaza (which runs from West 3rd to West 4th St, just east of NYU’s Bobst Library), 50 West 4th St., Manhattan
