An all-day conference, co-sponsored by the Faculty Committee on the Future of Technology-Enhanced Education at NYU, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, and Global Technology Services, will explore some of today’s most important issues in technology-enhanced education.

Over the past year and a half, the committee worked diligently to formulate key principles and specific recommendations to guide experimentation and assessment of technology-enhanced education at NYU. The Committee’s Final Report, released in July 2014, reflects its extensive conversations with faculty (individually and in groups), students, administrators, trustees, and experts in the field. Panels during the all-day conference on September 12 will focus on learning outcomes in technology-enhanced courses, technology and global education, the brain science of learning, and the effect of technology on higher education finance. In addition, there will be demonstrations of some of the cutting-edge innovations being implemented across NYU.

Information about and registration for the Sept. 12 are available at www.beyondmoocconference.com.
