: The NYU Steinhardt Institute for Higher Education Policy welcomes Regina S. Peruggi, president of New York’s Kingsborough Community College (KCC) in Brooklyn. Peruggi will discuss the academic strategies KCC has adopted to support student achievement and her insights regarding leadership and institutional culture-building necessary to create a climate of change and challenge.

KCC was recently named one of 10 finalists for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence,the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance in America’s community colleges. Part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, Kingsborough now enters the last stage of the competition for the $1 million prize that will be awarded in March.
